Western Dental in Gilroy, California - Bait and switch pricing

I was recently quoted a low price for my daughters braces, I understood this to be an estimate ( in case more treatment was needed or treatment changed ), when I booked the appt for the braces, I went over pricing with the agent , monthly payments etc. I asked repeatedly if the price on the estimate was firm, they assured me it was ( pending additional treatment) when we arrived I was told they had a price increase just days before so my price was almost 200 dollars more, they directed me to corporate to discuss, corporate said it was Gilroy Western Dental that had to request to keep price the same, they knew of no price increase, and were unwilling to intercede without a request from Gilroy Western Dental, and no, my daughter did not need any different or additional treatment then what was originally estimated. Very scandalous !! And from reading these reviews... It's common practice. And with corporate and the Gilroy office each blaming the other, what can I do !!

WESTERN DENTAL AND DR. SONA ASATRYAN. DDS

I finally found a Doctor, a Dentist whom I felt comfortable with and could TRUST . We all know, now days it is hard to come across to caring Dr .Light touch , great, personality really compassionate. I went for my 6 months checkup and they told me she is no longer in Santa Monica. I asked how can I find Dr. Sona, if she is still in LA ? Front staff was really vague about her new location and corporate refused to look her up! Was it too much to ask? Now I understand why people don`t stay in Western Dental .

Western Dental Porterville Ca

On July 31 2013 my daughter-in -law tried to schedule an appointment for a root canal using her HMO insurance locked to this business. She continues to be in severe pain. She has lost a month of work and will probably loose the tooth when seen.It is September 4,2013 and she still has no appointment. Her husband has called repeatedly during the last month trying to get her cared for. The manager, Marissa (they won't tell the last name),is magically out EVERY time he calls. When trying to call her PDM (supervisor) Adam (they won't tell the last name)he is magically not available.

Before trying too hard to get help from WD, I would recommend finding another dentist entirely. Please Google Western Dental Complaints. You may find that not getting that appointment is a blessing in disguise. Furthermore, dental problems can be dangerous to your health and can even cause death.

Western Dental is currently in trouble with the State for FAILING TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY. I have been helping WD victims for a few years. I would suggest contacting the CA Dept of managed healthcare and submit a complaint to WD corporate. you can file a complaint via BOTH websites dmhc.ca.gov then click on help desk. Western Dental in Temecula, California - Incompetent,rude,billing terrible,harrasing at work place

Western Dental- Murrieta, CA . Took my daugther there for braces, since it was the only place I could afford, worst nightmare ever. People are very rude, incompetent and worse billing department ever!!. Not only that but they will harrass you at work for a late payment. They have all of my insurance information but refuse to update my account. As of today, no call backs from them regarding my account.People take your business elsewhere. Terrible, will not recommend ever. They just want your money but refuse to help you. Need better customer service associates that know what they are doing.Please train your staff!! Shorter wait times, to many people and you can't handle them in a timely manner!

Western Dental

With our new insurance (Care 1st with Medicare), my husband and I were assigned Western Dental. We went to one appt and told we were at the wrong office. We made an another appt with the other office. We got there at 1:30, left at 5:30. I was told they would not clean my teeth until I agreed to pay $290.00 for a deep cleaning. I agreed to it finally and now have to pay $58.00 a month for 5 months. I've had a deep cleaning before. What I received was not by any means a deep cleaning. It was a simple dental cleaning, what would be expected with any ordinary dental exam and cleaning. I was called by Western Dental today to see how my visit went. I told the person I would never, ever return to Western Dental for my dental care.

Sorry, but removing four teeth is going to cause teeth to move. There's no question about it.

If your orthodontist didn't tell you to remove them before starting braces they're the ones at fault. Any orthodontist knows that you remove teeth needing to be removed before starting braces. Even removing one tooth will cause teeth to move. This is dentistry 101.

They removed her teeth like they where asked to do.

Keeping the teeth in line is the orthodontist's job.

They did the same thing to my mother but at the Hemet ca office. My mom is 67yrs old and has a few teeth left.

They messed up the implant and they charge her for what they screwed up. Now my wife went in a week ago to the Corona ca office. The dirtiest office I've been in with hair from others all on the floor and dental examining chairs. I have a cost sheet from my dental insurance company and my insurance pays almost 98% of cost.

They charged my wife $14,00.00 for cleaning and root canal. I just caught it today on the paperwork. Pre5tty tricky teenager that is doing the pricing and contracts. why in the *** does western dental have a kid ripping off patients money.

They're good! But not that good.

It's hard when you are on Social Security with limited funds and then get ripped off.

Very bad service! They seem don't know how to manage the time!

My appointment was 1:30 in the afternoon just for routine cleaning. However, they took me almost 4 hours to have it done.

The assistants were very rough. It was painful!
