my wife worked at western dental for about 5 months and would come home miserable, having had to work too many hours,(theyre open till seven)in unsafe conditions. before she quit, she was the only licensed rda.

Please, even if you cannot afford anywhere else, do not go to western dental. the santa maria location does not currently have licensed rda, they do not keep the operating rooms hygenic and tools sterilized, and many unsafe conditions. reusing needles, mixing chemicals, water puddles in hallway, open ceiling panels, exposed wiring. this place is waiting for a health inspector.

check it out.

read the reviews. go somewhere else.

Western Dental Tempe is horrible. My dental implant just came out.

My wife's and I, our insurance paid the rest of the bill, yet the endlessly continue to try and make us pay. How the dentist and surgeon sleep at night is a mystery..worse than dishonest car salesman or *** of the earth politician.

Why did she work there for 5 months, why not at the end of the week, I'm sure if all this was going on she would have seen it then. I'm sure this is the writings of a disgruntled employee.

Western Dental in Santa Maria has a manager that does not do the work he's suppose to do, the office staff is not supervised, they overbook way too much, as the wait can be from 1 hr up to 4 and that is ridiculous.

If you ask the office staff any sort of question they look as if to say "duh" I've been there when a problem arises and he just turns his head, and keeps doing what he's doing in his office, this manager needs to come out and take charge as none of the front staff know a thing. These people need to be trained better and need to communicate with their patients. As far as the dentists, Dr. Mattar and Dr.

Tung, they are both very good dentists, it's just they're so over booked they can only do so much. The main office needs to hire more dentists to handle the many, many patients (mainly medical) that come to this office otherwise they will lose patients that are on insurance and pay cash, just too much overbooking. I can understand waiting 45 minutes to an hour but when you have to wait 2-4 hrs that's ridiculous, there's those of us that do have jobs and have to get back to them.

I've referred friends and they all say the same thing. This office needs to be re-organized, even if it means firing the manager.
